Here is the story on Tiger Bells. I was at work one weekend and went outside to take a break. I heard this loud, loud meowing. This little 8-week old Calico kitten came running toward me crying as if I were the one thing that she was looking for. I check to see if there were any litter mates around but none to be found.
Of course, I could not leave her outside since we have a lot of hawks around the area and she would be the perfect meal. I put her in a box and took her home, vowing that I would find a good home for her. Well, as it turned out, she was at home already--mine!
I named her Tiger Bells. She has the colors of the Mizzou Tiger football team (Black and Gold) and her meows were as clear as a bell.
She has adjusted quite well and plays like a typical kitten, however, my other cat, who is a Tuxedo, was not very happy with me. Smudge, who was adopted by my Golden Retriever Baylee, and consequently ended up as a new resident of my home, will need some special attention to get her over her pouting!
I am very pleased to have been able to offer Bells a new home. There was no thought at all to take her to our Humane Shelter where she may not have been adopted. She is now a part of our family.
